Baked Banana in Butter Sauce
4 Servings
Ingredients:
3 medium-firm bananas, peeled
1/4 cup dried apricots, chopped
1/4 cup golden raisins
1 Tbsp. finely shredded fresh orange peel
2 Tbsps. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. butter
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. toasted black sesame seeds
2 tsps. toasted white sesame seeds
Cooking:
1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
2. Cut 2 bananas in half length-wise and arrange on a heat-proof dish. Sprinkle with apricots, raisins, orange peel, brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter. Place bananas in oven; bake 12 to 15 minutes.
3. Combine remaining banana, evaporated milk, and sugar in a blender; blend until smooth. Pour into serving plate; arrange baked bananas and dried fruits on top. Sprinkle with black and white sesame seeds. Serve hot.
