These are common ingredients found in local cuisine. You can find these ingredients readily available in your local supermarket.

CHILI GARLIC SAUCE

Chili garlic sauce is a delicious, hot chili sauce blended with garlic, used for dipping. It's also a great addition to your favorite Chinese stir-fries during the last minute of cooking. Most chili garlic sauces are made from a blend of fresh and dried chilies, vinegar, and garlic. There are million of varieties available, ranging in degrees of hotness and consistency.

Most Asian markets sell an assortment of popular chili pastes and sauces from different countries. Start out by buying a small bottle or jar. Refrigerate opened jars and bottles. They will keep for a year.
