CHAR SIU SAUCE
As a Chinese-style barbecue sauce, originating from the popular Chinese ingredient, char siu, or roasted pork, this sweet flavor is perfect for marinating and stir-frying. Char siu sauce is a combination of oyster-flavored sauce, hoisin sauce, bean sauce, ketchup, sugar, and five-spice powder. Marinate your meat with this thick, tasty sauce (best overnight or up to 4 days). It adds a rich shiny finish to any roast meat or spare rib recipe.
